Ulrike Sehrschön is one of Austria’s leading experts in public procurement and public commercial law. Her practice ranges from procurement and infrastructure projects to complex regulatory issues, such as those involving public procurement, energy, commercial law, industrial installations law, data protection, pharmaceutical and health law as well as financial market regulation. She also provides legal representation in public procurement reviews and administrative proceedings.

She studied law in Graz and pursued advanced studies in European and international law in Nottingham and Strasbourg. Before joining Sehrschoen Rechtsanwälte as a partner, she served as an in-house counsel at the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber and Bundesbeschaffung GmbH. For many years, she was a partner at leading Austrian commercial law firms. In addition to her work for clients, she has served as an examiner for the bar exam since 2019. Furthermore, Ulrike Sehrschön regularly speaks at professional events, including the annual Procurement Forum of the Business Circle and seminars hosted by the ARS Academy.

Titus Kahr specialises in public law and public procurement law. He provides comprehensive advice to national and international clients on public law matters, particularly in highly regulated industries. His practice covers complex regulatory matters — including energy, telecommunications, environmental, commercial, and export control law — as well as ongoing public procurement advice and representation in administrative proceedings and before administrative and ordinary courts.

He studied business law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and the University of Aberdeen (UK). Even before beginning his career as an attorney, he gained experience in the legal department of a public infrastructure company (viadonau – Österreichische Wasserstraßen-Gesellschaft mbH).

His legal training and professional experience include positions at leading Austrian and international commercial law firms. Through his consistently outstanding work, Titus Kahr has played a key role in maintaining his teams’ strong positions in prestigious international rankings over many years.

Niklas Nigl specialises in public procurement law and public law. He assists public contracting authorities and bidders with all matters related to public procurement law, from the design and implementation of complex procedures to representation in public procurement review proceedings, and also provides comprehensive advice on public law, particularly in sensitive and highly regulated areas such as life sciences, financial market regulation, and immigration.

He studied in Vienna, Stockholm, and Leiden, where he completed his LL.M. in European law with summa cum laude honors. His professional career has taken him to the Administrative Court of Vienna as well as to leading Austrian and international commercial law firms. In addition, he regularly speaks at professional events, including seminars organised by the ARS Academy.

Tatjana Simon supports the team in public law and public procurement law.

She studied law at the University of Vienna and gained her first professional experience as a student at a law firm specialising in intellectual property and competition law. She completed her judicial training at the Federal Administrative Court in Vienna, as well as at the District and Regional Courts in Korneuburg.

Tatjana was already a member of Ulrike Sehrschön’s team before the founding of Sehrschön Rechtsanwälte and continues to strengthen the firm as an associate.
